ML4Good is a bootcamp that aims to provide an opportunity to upskill in deep learning, explore the existing research landscape and delve into conceptual AI safety topics to those who want to work towards making AI safe and beneficial to humanity.

This camp will fast-track your deep learning skills, inform you about AI safety research, allow you to explore conceptual challenges, and connect you with like-minded individuals for potential friendship and collaboration.

Alejandro Acelas
Head Teacher
Alejandro has worked on mechanistic interpretability research, contributed technical input to the EU AI Act, and co-founded EA Uniandes, Colombia's most active Effective Altruism group. He previously served as a teaching assistant at ML4Good Brasil and is excited to help cultivate AI safety talent in Latin America.
Jonathan Claybrough
Teacher Mentor
Jonathan shifted to full-time involvement in AI safety around late 2022 from a background in networks and software engineering, Since then, he has contributed to technical standards for the EU AI Act, delivered introductory talks on AI safety, co-founded the European Network for AI Safety (ENAIS), and worked on AI threat models and risk reduction.
Manuela Garcia
Logistics and Ops
Communications and research specialist with a focus on AI safety. Organised the Virtual AI Safety Unconference and developed educational materials to help parents and educators discuss AI safety with children. Currently researching the long-term emotional and psychological effects of AI.
